"Always come back to the different African musics. Mostly West African Hi-life, Afro beat and Afrobeats!! and of course Congolese Soukous.
Learning how to groove with intricate polyrhythms and mnemonic breaks helps my soloing and informs my teaching."

​"Because I can be quiet, people sometimes assume I'm rude and snobby.... BUT I'M NOT!!!"​
