When do you feel the most calm or at peace?

"When I wake up in the morning with no rush to be anywhere and my window blinds flood in the blue morning hues and the window lets in that chilly cool breeze."

What’s something you’re naturally curious about?

"Conflict. I spend a lot of time debating in my head how in my life I see a range of personalities respond to conflict in different ways and not everyone knows how or what to do when faced with conflict and others create too much conflict with their directness."

What kind of energy do you like to surround yourself with?

"I enjoy realness and the energy of it I find in myself and in the people I love most who are unapologetically themselves, loud and free but I also relish in the calm energy of silence and the comfort in it and so to have both is balance."

What’s something small that can completely change your mood for the better?

"Going on a drive with the music blaring and a salted honey ice latte."

What’s a lesson life has taught you that stuck with you?

"Resentment hurts you much more than accepting the truth of the situation and growing from it."

What’s a place or setting where you feel most inspired?

"Cape Town, South Africa. Its beauty, weather and realism wakes you up and makes you feel your best, your most active and your most grounded which keeps you in touch with who you are and what you desire. Visiting my place of upbringing is very important to me."

What’s something you appreciate more now than you did before?

"Something I appreciate more now than I did is change. I used to hate change in my routines, it made me uncertain and uncomfortable, but now I see my independence grow in circumstances where change is always present."

What kind of experiences make you feel the most alive?

"Spontaneous experiences that create thrill and excitement."

What’s something you value more as you get older?

"Loyalty, there’s nothing I value more than loyalty but when you are younger there is more room for contrived friendships and interactions but as I’ve grown I see no reason to be around anyone I deem to be fake or behave in a way that is phoney. If I don’t have trust in the fact that you give me the same loyalty I put into all of my relationships then I don’t see how you add value to my life."

What’s one thing that always brings you back to yourself?

"Exercise, it grounds me physically and psychologically."
